Washington Commanders fans will watch their team from home on Sunday night, Nov. 1, as the Commanders host the Philadelphia Eagles on NBC. The broadcast begins at 8:20 p.m. ET at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. DraftKings lists Washington as a six-point favorite in the matchup.

Both teams have struggled this season. The Commanders hold a 1-4-1 record, while the Eagles are 2-4. These two NFC East rivals met in Week 1, where the Eagles won 24-22. That roster, however, looks different now due to injuries on both sides.

Philadelphia will not have quarterback Jalen Hurts for the rest of the season after a blood clot diagnosis. Running back Saquon Barkley will play despite hamstring and back issues. He missed time earlier in the month and appeared limited in his Week 7 return. The Eagles are also without wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, as well as linebacker Jihaad Campbell.

Washington faces its own personnel challenges. Coach Dan Quinn is without star wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who suffered a season-ending torn patellar tendon. Quarterback Jayden Daniels has played well since returning from an elbow dislocation. He threw for 199 yards and ran for 103 yards and two scores in a 27-27 tie against the Giants. In the following game, he recorded his second career 300-yard passing performance against the 49ers.

Daniels has not won a start since Week 5 of the 2025 season. He is 0-7-1 as a starter since then, having missed 10 games. Without McLaurin, the Commanders will likely lean on Stefon Diggs, Chig Okonkwo, and Antonio Williams in the passing game.

The Eagles offense has ranked 29th in points per game and 32nd in yards per play this season. Their defense allowed the Commanders to rank 31st in points per game allowed. Washington is missing interior defenders Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw. Payne suffered an injury on Friday. The Eagles defense performed well in Week 1 against Washington, a level of play their coaches hope to see return.

Washington has lost six consecutive primetime games. Only the Indianapolis Colts have a longer active streak in that category, with seven straight losses. This game comes right after Halloween, a time when the Commanders have struggled under the lights.
