Dunkin' is moving into Wyoming with its first stand-alone restaurant in the state. The chain will open at 3363 East Pershing Blvd. in Cheyenne next month.

The site will use the company's Next Generation layout. According to a press release, cold drinks including iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew are dispensed through a tap system. Espresso is prepared by hand for each order. The interior uses a front-facing bakery case, and the drive-thru includes an On-the-Go lane. That lane allows Dunkin' Rewards members who order ahead through the mobile app to skip the ordering queue and go directly to the pickup window. The company describes itself as the first national restaurant brand to offer this setup.

Bhavesh Patel owns and operates the Cheyenne restaurant. It is his first Dunkin' location. "We're thrilled to bring Dunkin' to Cheyenne and introduce the brand's signature coffee, donuts and breakfast favorites to the community," Patel said. "As my first Dunkin' restaurant, this opening is especially meaningful, and we're excited to create local jobs, welcome guests through our doors and become a part of the Cheyenne community."

Dunkin' was formerly known as Dunkin' Donuts. The company has not scheduled the soft opening or the grand opening, though it stated dates will be announced soon.
