Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City are monitoring Paris Saint-Germain winger Désiré Doué, according to a report by TEAMtalk. Bayern Munich is also watching the 21-year-old France international. These clubs face a hurdle because PSG is currently negotiating a contract extension with Doué to keep him under contract beyond 2029.
Juventus has identified Monaco striker Folarin Balogun as its primary target for the January transfer window. Tuttosport reports that technical and financial factors drive this priority. The 25-year-old USMNT international is expected to leave Monaco after a summer move to Everton worth €40 million fell through. Juventus also views Atlético Madrid’s Alexander Sørloth and Frosinone loanee Antonio Raimondo as backup options.
Chelsea is focusing its search on AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott following a failed summer attempt to sign him. Florian Plettenberg notes that Liverpool is also interested in reuniting Scott with manager Andoni Iraola. TEAMtalk suggests Bournemouth is looking at AZ Alkmaar’s Kees Smit and Lazio’s Kenneth Taylor to replace the 23-year-old England international.
Chelsea, AC Milan, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahçe are the most active bidders for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yasin Ayari. TEAMtalk reports that Ayari, 23, has a contract expiring in the summer. Brighton holds a one-year extension option, which has created uncertainty about his status. Other clubs linked to the Sweden international include Newcastle United, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Roma, and Juventus.
Former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has rejected an offer from Getafe. Marca says the 26-year-old free agent received a lucrative proposal from Saudi Arabia. Sancho requested a net salary of €3 million through the end of the season, a figure that exceeded Getafe’s financial capacity.
Chelsea remains interested in Everton center back Jarrad Branthwaite, though Everton intends to retain him for the time being. Football Insider reported this development. Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United sent scouts to watch Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi score a hat-trick against Sint-Truiden.
Bayern Munich is monitoring Newcastle United loanee Nick Woltemade at Juventus while evaluating a backup for Harry Kane, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Barcelona, Napoli, and Juventus are tracking Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lucas Bergvall due to his limited first-team minutes this season. Manchester United has shifted its January priorities toward strengthening its defense, per Football Insider.
