Memphis Grizzlies rookie Cameron Boozer recorded 18 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists on Thursday night to secure his first career triple-double. The performance helped the Grizzlies defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 124-103 in Portland, extending their season-opening winning streak to five games.

The victory leaves Memphis and the Houston Rockets as the only two undefeated teams in the National Basketball Association. Portland had previously held an undefeated record but dropped its first game of the season against its former star.

Isaiah Stewart contributed 18 points from the bench for Memphis. Cedric Coward added 17 points, seven rebounds and three steals. The Grizzlies dominated the second half, outscoring the Trail Blazers 66-45 in that period.

For Portland, Deni Avdija led the offense with 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Ja Morant scored 14 points and recorded three assists in 23 minutes of action. He left the game in the fourth quarter with a left hamstring injury.

Morant played against his former team for the first time since being traded in June. He spent seven seasons with the Grizzlies before the transaction.

In other games, the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-111. Onyeka Okongwu scored a season-high 29 points for Atlanta. Nickeil Alexander-Walker hit two free throws with 15.3 seconds left to seal the win. The Hawks ended a three-game losing streak. James Harden scored 24 points for Cleveland, which lost a game for the first time in four nights. Donovan Mitchell finished with 22 points and missed two potential tying three-pointers in the final seconds.

The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Sacramento Kings 132-120. Jeremiah Fears and Zion Williamson each scored 22 points for New Orleans. The Pelicans recorded their first win of the season after losing four straight games. Darius Acuff Jr. scored a season-best 34 points for Sacramento, which became the first team in the league to lose five games this campaign.
