The Los Angeles Dodgers are the early betting favorite to win the 2027 World Series, according to odds released by major sportsbooks on Wednesday. The Milwaukee Brewers sit second in the futures markets, followed by the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays.
FanDuel set the opening line for the Dodgers at +360 to win the 2027 championship. The Brewers are listed at +600, the Yankees at +750, and the Rays at +1800. DraftKings offers slightly shorter odds for Los Angeles at +310. That book lists Milwaukee at +500 and New York at +700. The Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, and Philadelphia Phillies all carry +1800 odds on DraftKings.
The Dodgers returned as heavy favorites after winning the 2025 World Series. Both FanDuel and BetMGM had them at +350 to win the 2026 title. The Yankees were second at both companies, with odds of +700 at FanDuel and +750 at BetMGM. Philadelphia finished third in those markets.
Roster decisions for the 2027 season remain open as the team prepares for a potential labor stoppage. Dodgers officials plan to use deferred payments to manage their payroll, a strategy that keeps them competitive against other high-spend clubs. The Brewers and Yankees are the only other teams with single-digit thousands in odds at FanDuel.
The Colorado Rockies hold the longest odds in the market again. They were listed at +50000 at the end of the 2025 season, the same price they carried after the 2024 season. The Chicago White Sox shared that +50000 line with Colorado in late October 2025. The White Sox advanced to the American League Division Series before losing a five-game series to the Cleveland Guardians.
